For years, Chrysler has incorporated innovative features in their products. Chrysler products have always been on the cutting edge of technology and use technology to increase safety features in their vehicles. Aside from being safe and efficient vehicles, Chrysler products offer the driver the best experience possible through connectivity, infotainment and entertainment.
Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram incorporate first class technology, which gives the consumers a wide variety of options when choosing features to include on their vehicle. Some of these somewhat standard features include satellite radio, adaptive cruise control, auto-reverse windows, navigation systems, DVD entertainment systems, and heated seats, to name a few.
In recent years, Chrysler has begun improving its already impressive safety standards on their products. Some of these new safety features include advanced multistage airbags, crush zones, electronic stability control, blind spot monitoring, rear cross path detection, and rear park assist systems.
The multistage airbags are standard on most Chrysler products. Working in conjunction with the three-point integrated restraint system, your passengers are surrounded by multiple layers of protection. Another one of these layers of protection is the crush zones designed to compress during an accident. These zones in the front of your vehicle and door beams in the sides help absorb excess energy and decrease transfer of that energy to occupants.
The electronic stability control (ESC) monitors steering input and vehicle motion. It senses when there's a difference between your intended path and the actual path of the vehicle and applies selective breaking or reduces engine throttle to help guide your vehicle back on its intended path.
The blind spot monitoring system assists you by alarming you when a vehicle is entering your blind spot area. For example, if you activate your turn signal to change lanes and a vehicle is in your blind spot, a visual and audible alert helps warn you to double check your blind spots before changing lanes. Another accident avoidance feature is the rear cross path detection system that detects if vehicles are approaching the rear of your vehicle when backing up. Also, the rear park assist system use sound waves to detect nearby objects in and around your vehicle when in reverse.
While security and safety are important features, Chrysler also offers great entertainment features. One of the newest features is the innovative Uconnect Media Center. This 6.5-inch touchscreen monitor not only displays radio, navigation, and DVD functions, but also acts as a hard drive where you can store more than 150 hours of music to listen to whenever you please. The media center also provides travel and traffic information, real-time weather updates, fuel prices and more while on the go.
Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram vehicles are some of the safest and most innovative cars on the road today.
