New 2017 Chrysler 300 at Button Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram for Kokomo, IN

The Chrysler 300 combines the robustness and speed of a sportscar, with a classy looking family-friendly ride. The cabin of the 300 is noticeably quiet with its engineered road-noise buffering systems. New items for 2017 are the Ceramic Gray exterior color (available), the 'Exterior' and 'Interior Sport' Appearance Packages, and some adjustments to the tuning of the 300S model (& ventilated heated seats). The Chrysler 300 has the latest Uconnect system with standard smartphone integration, offering both Android Auto or Apple CarPlay compatibility. The new Ceramic Gray exterior on the 300S model is clever and looks striking, like a subtle shadow makes a painted object look real. Read on to learn more about the 2017 Chrysler 300!

Under the 300's Hood

On Chrysler 300S models that are RWD, there are performance-tuned bushings and steering, tri-season tires by Goodyear Eagle F1, a performance-tuned suspension with larger spring rates, and bigger sway bars (in the V8). There is a selection of dual drive systems, with an option for an AWD version for any model or the standard RWD style. The 300S model is standard in rear-wheel drive, then incorporates a sport-tuned suspension, calibration-tuned steering, and LED foglights. All 2017 Chrysler 300 models are possible to obtain with a progressive AWD system that, in addition to sending power correctly to all- and rear-wheel drive systems, uses an active transfer case and an independent front-axle-disconnect feature. There are 2 engine choices within the Chrysler 300, the first being a 3.6L Pentastar V-6 variable-valve timing (VVT) standard engine that attains 292 horsepower and gets to 260 lb-ft of torque. The other engine is a 5.7L HEMI V-8 with VVT (plus interactive deceleration fuel shut-off) that acquires 363 horsepower and churns to 394 lb-ft of torque. An eight-speed automatic is the transmission that is combined with either of the 2 engines.

Design of Chrysler 300

In 2017, there are 4 capable models: the 300C, 300 Limited, 300S, and the 300C Platinum. Apple CarPlay brings in Apple Messages, Apple Maps, and Apple Music via Siri Voice control (or with the Uconnect 8.4-in). Android Auto connects to Google Maps, Google voice search, and Google Play Music through the Uconnect 8.4-inch touchscreen (with controls mounted on a steering wheel). The latest generation of the Uconnect system makes peak performance possible, such as faster startup times, super-quick power processing, and HD hi-resolution images. The 300C Platinum model has French accent-stitching, Platinum Chrome finishes, quilted Nappa door panels and leather seating, 20-inch polished-aluminum wheels, a 'Sport' mode with paddle shifters, two-tone Indigo/Linen interiors (Black is an option too), hand-sanded/natural-pore wood, and a signature chrome accent halo inside the leather-wrapped steering wheel. The Alloy Edition Package is new in 2017 and looks fantastic on the 300S model, due to its blacked-out exterior, Dark Bronze accenting, and black Nappa leather with stitching in caramel tones. The Uconnect System also fastidiously directs smartphone integration as standard on every 2017 Chrysler 300 model. Standard on the 300C Platinum (300C possible) is a subwoofer, a 900-watt amp, and a 19-speaker audio party, all part of the 'Harman Kardon Audio Group'.
