Lane Closures Expected on I-69 for Bridge Maintenance

Highway will have alternating lane closures in both directions between mile markers 254-257

GRANT COUNTY – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces that Interstate 69 will have alternating lane closures, between mile marker 254 and 257, beginning Thursday, Jan. 25, weather permitting. The lane restrictions will allow INDOT crews to perform bridge preservation maintenance on the S.R. 26 bridge over I-69. All lanes of the interstate are expected to reopen by 5 p.m. on the same day, weather permitting.

Motorists are reminded to obey all signage within the construction zone. INDOT encourages drivers to use caution and consider worker safety when driving through any active work zone.
